Prior to joining API, James worked in complex commercial litigation at McGuire Woods, focusing on business contract breaches, land use disputes and commercial torts, handling complex, multimillion-dollar disputes in courts nationwide. James is a former law clerk to the Honorable Claude M. Hilton of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
